Job summary

is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive architecture strategy and governance across the organization, guiding digital modernization initiatives and ensuring scalable, high-performing platforms. You will work with senior leadership, product teams, and engineering units to shape target-state architectures, oversee roadmaps, and set security guardrails while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on technology architecture or senior technical leadership.
• Deep domain expertise in enterprise architecture, microservices, and event-driven platforms.
• Experience leading target-state architectures for large-scale digital transformations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, and platform engineering.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence executives.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

We are partnered with an established financial services enterprise seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive enterprise-wide architecture strategy, governance, and digital modernisation initiatives.

You will work closely with senior leadership, product teams, and engineering units, you will guide legacy system modernisation toward scalable, modern, and high-performing digital architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and govern enterprise-wide architectural frameworks, design principles, and technology standards across software, integration, and security domains.
• Oversee multi-year technology roadmaps, transitioning monolithic systems into scalable, API-first, and event-driven architectures.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for complex transformation projects, evaluating new technologies, platform choices, and design trade-offs.
• Collaborate with business unit heads, security teams, and group-level stakeholders to align architectural designs with broader business objectives and regulatory standards.
• Mentor senior engineers and solution architects, fostering engineering best practices and platform-oriented delivery.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in technology architecture or high-level technical leadership roles.
• Deep domain expertise in enterprise application architecture (microservices, event-driven platforms), data/integration patterns, and security guardrails.
• Demonstrated history of leading target-state architectures for large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Solid grasp of modern software development life cycles (SDLC), DevOps practices, and platform engineering.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to influence senior executives.
• Prior experience within financial services or regulated enterprise environments is highly advantageous.
