Job summary

Far East Organization is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Singapore to lead daily technical support for laundry operations and manage a shift-based technical team.

You will be the first contact for technical issues, drive improvements, and maintain critical logs. You will coordinate maintenance schedules, liaise with Kannegiesser SEA, and ensure safety and equipment readiness across operations.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience leading an engineering maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the duty shift to provide daily technical support for laundry operations.
• Be the first point of contact for technical issues.
• Lead improvement initiatives, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Maintain the handover-takeover technical log.
• Participate in bi-monthly continuous improvement project reviews.
• Be versed with OLIVER troubleshooting framework (Observe, List, Isolate, Verify, Execute, Rectify).
• Ensure sufficient manpower for each operation day.
• Schedule and manage technical team’s work and preventive maintenance.
• Plan and execute ad-hoc repair work or component replacement.
• Initiate support from Kannegiesser SEA via email with initial findings.
• Submit weekly reports to Engineering management for review and endorsement.
• Nurture and maintain technical proficiency of the team.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of team members.
• Engage operations in morning briefings.
• Attend daily engineering toolbox meetings.
• Ensure availability of tools, consumables, and spares for sustained operations.

Requirements
