Job summary

ISS FACILITY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Facilities Engineer to supervise technicians and lead day-to-day operations in engineering maintenance to ensure safe environments for patients, staff and visitors.

You will manage a team across satellite areas or Central Operations, coordinate front-end maintenance, and ensure high-quality service in line with client expectations and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Able to work on a 5.5days work week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and lead day-to-day operations to ensure safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Manage a team of technicians across satellite areas or Central Operations for front-end engineering maintenance and provide excellent operational support to clinics, wards, operating theatres and shops.
• Manage customer and end-user relationships to meet KPI/SLA expectations as per contract.
• Obtain quotations from sub-contractors and process purchase orders for repair works; liaise with subcontractors to maintain client satisfaction.
• Maintain relationships with specialist subcontractors and contractors.
• Identify engineering issues and troubleshoot to respond to end-user requests.
• Resolve and mitigate potential engineering problems and prevent system breakdowns.

Education

Higher Nitec in Engineering

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Supervise technicians, lead and manage the day-to-day operations and provide best practices in engineering maintenance to achieve a safer environment for patients, staff and visitors

• To manage a team of technicians in the respective satellite areas or Central Operations to carry out daily front end engineering maintenance works and ensuring excellency in operational supports to the various specialist clinics, wards, operating theatres & retail shops

• To manage the customers and end users relationship and meet customer and end user's expectations with reference to the KPI and service level agreement spelt out in the contract

• To obtain quotation from sub-contractor and process purchase order for all repair works and work with all sub-contractors to perform repair works to maintain the facilities within the constant improving expectations of the clients

• Manage relationship with all specialist sub-con and contractors

• Identify engineering issues and troubleshooting to respond to end users' requests

• Resolve and mitigate potential engineering problems and potential cause to system breakdown
