Job summary
Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional agile squad delivering scalable digital services for traffic and road IT operations. You will drive engineering best practices, sprint delivery, and high code quality across Java, C++, and OutSystems, in a multi-cloud environment with AWS and Azure.
You will mentor a team of 4–5 engineers, partner with product managers and designers, and ensure reliable, secure, and user-centric services
Qualifications
- 10+ years software engineering experience and 2+ years in leadership or squad lead
- Experience with Java and C++ in production
- Experience across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and low-code platforms such as OutSystems
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day sprint delivery for an engineering squad
- Translate roadmaps into technical epics and user stories
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and track flow metrics
- Define deployment practices, maintain code quality, and manage technical debt
