Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned M&E Engineer to support the Building team in the next phase of growth. The role focuses on leading an M&E crew, ensuring reliable operation of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, BMS, plumbing and related systems.

You will drive preventive maintenance, manage contractors, and contribute to CAPEX planning, budgeting and project execution, while pursuing energy and water efficiency across the estate.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing commercial grade A building preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor M&E team to troubleshoot and maintain building operations.
• Oversee ACMV, electrical, fire protection, BMS, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance to meet regulations and standards.
• Supervise vendors and manage repair and improvement projects.
• Support CAPEX planning, budgeting, tender evaluation, and project execution.
• Monitor utilities and pursue energy- and water-saving initiatives; maintain licenses and reporting.

Job description

Our client is a leading Real Estate company. They are looking for a M&E Engineer to assist their Building team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at Central of Singapore– easily accessible.

Duties

• Lead & mentor a skilled M&E team: Guide technicians in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and daily building operations to ensure smooth and efficient facility performance.
• Manage critical building systems: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, BMS, plumbing, and sanitary systems across the property.
• Drive preventive maintenance & compliance: Plan and monitor maintenance programs to meet statutory regulations, contract specifications, EHS standards, and industry best practices.
• Oversee contractors & improvement works: Supervise vendors, review service quality, manage repair and enhancement projects, and ensure timely and cost-effective completion of works.
• Lead M&E projects & asset enhancement initiatives: Support CAPEX planning, budgeting, tender evaluation, project execution, and tenant fit-out reviews to maintain high building standards and operational excellence.
• Enhance operational efficiency & sustainability: Monitor utility consumption, recommend energy- and water-saving initiatives, maintain statutory licenses and documentation, and deliver accurate management reporting.

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  
• Experience managing commercial grade A building will be preferred.
