Job summary

BLUE STAR SYSTEM PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Semiconductor) to support outsourced operations for an MNC.

The role focuses on maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, calibrations, and ensuring high availability of production machinery. Training is provided for those without prior semiconductor experience. Based in Woodlands, the position requires shift work with OT allowances when required and a minimum degree.

Qualifications

• Basic technical mindset with willingness to learn and perform on-site tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work rules in a cleanroom environment.
• Prior experience in semicon or Wafer Fab is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of equipment and preventive maintenance to ensure uptime.
• Perform calibrations on area equipment and provide feedback to engineers.
• Maintain high production machinery availability through maintenance programs.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE rules; ensure systems are well maintained.
• Work in shift and be able to handle occasional OT when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Able to perform and maintain high availability of production machinery and related equipment through effective predictive, preventive and productive maintenance programs
• Perform calibrations on area equipment
• Provide feedback and data to engineer as needed
• Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE
• Ensure system are well maintained

Requirements

• Minimum Degree
• Good learning attitude, independent on-site duty
• Training will be provided for individuals without prior experience
• Full-Time position(s) available
• Knowledge in Wafer Fab Facility preferred
• Candidates are required to handle heavy equipment min 10kgs each
