Job summary

PERSOL seeks a capable Field Service Engineer to support semiconductor equipment in Singapore. You will troubleshoot, install, maintain and repair complex systems on-site, liaising with customers and coordinating logistics, sometimes on standby after office hours.

The role requires disciplined, independent work and a willingness to operate in cleanroom environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor performance, report trends and help prevent recurring issues through

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve semiconductor equipment and system issues (computer, software, networked/wireless).
• On-site installation, continual improvement programmes, parts overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair on equipment.
• Liaise with customers on admin and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Coordinate logistics with customers for equipment matters.
• Respond to complaints with timely solutions.
• Monitor product performance and provide regular status reports on service requests.
• Escalate common complaints to management for preventive actions.

Job description

Responsibilities: -

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on semiconductor equipment and systems including computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems

• Perform on-site installation, continual improvement programmes, parts' overhaul, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair works on equipment

• Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects

• Coordinate logistics arrangements and with customer on equipment related matters

• Responds to customers' complaints, provides time to solutions to resolve customers' issues

• Monitors the performance of the product, provide regular update report and feedback on customers' service requests

• Reports common complaints of customers to management in order to address the situation for future reference

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or its equivalent

• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills
