EXYTE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Engineer to develop design documentation for process systems, including PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and data sheets, ensuring deliverables meet client and project requirements.

You will assist in tender preparation, vendor document reviews, budgeting, commissioning support, and promoting safe work practices across all project phases. The role involves collaboration with design and project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Diploma with 2-3 years' experience is acceptable or equivalent professional certifications.
• Experience in design and/or construction in Deionized/Ultrapure Water or Wastewater or Chemical or Gas Systems.
• Understanding of international codes and engineering standards.
• Conversant with design software.

Responsabilidades

• Develop design documentation per Deliverable List: PFDs, P&IDs, System Layouts, Equipment and Instrumentation data sheets.
• Prepare tender documents and participate in tendering activities.
• Perform engineering reviews on vendor documentation for compliance and completeness in technical scope.
• Brief Process Supervisors on project scope and ensure system complete on schedule.
• Interface with Design Phase: Design Manager, Lead/Senior Process Engineer, other package owners; Project Execution Phase: Project Manager and QA/QC roles.
• Assist Lead/Senior Engineers in budgeting and cost estimations.
• Assist QA/QC in Site acceptance Test and Inspection Qualification.
• Assist Commissioning Manager in system start-up, testing and turnover to client.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop design documentation as per Deliverable List eg Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, System Layouts, Equipment and Instrumentation data sheets


• Involved in preparation of tender document and tendering activities (tender preparation, tender interview / clarification meetings, evaluate proposals submissions and Tender Recommendation Report preparation);


• Perform engineering reviews on vendor documentation to ensure compliance and completeness in technical scope;


• Brief Process Supervisors on the project scope and ensure system complete on schedule;


• Interface:
  Design Phase: Design Manager, Lead/Senior Process Engineer, Other Discipline Package Owner/s
  Project Execution Phase: Project Manager, Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance, Commissioning Manager, Process Supervisor, Other Discipline Package Owner/s.


• Assist Lead/Senior Engineer/s in budgeting and cost estimations for projects;


• Assist Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance Manager/Senior Engineer/s in Site acceptance Test and Inspection Qualification;


• Assist Commissioning Manager in system start-up, testing and commissioning and system turnover to client;

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering


• Diploma holders with additional 2 - 3 years' experience unless equated with professional certifications


• Type of experience: Experience in design and/or construction in either Deionized/Ultrapure Water or Wastewater or Chemical or Gas Systems


• Understanding of Codes and Engineering Standards of International Clients


• Conversant in the use of design software
