NANOSUN PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to support execution of Water and Wastewater Treatment projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet schedule and budget.

You will review specs, develop detailed plans, manage vendor evaluations, and assist in risk mitigation, with hands-on contribution from drawing packages to site support.

The role emphasizes collaboration, quality, safety, and timely delivery in a dynamic EPC environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental, Chemical, or Biological Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in Water, Wastewater Treatment Plants, or EPC projects (MEP).
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Demonstrated teamwork with strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and manage frequent changes in project priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager and Project Director in executing Water and Wastewater Treatment projects effectively.
  • Review customer specifications, commercial and technical documents, and product requirements to ensure project compliance.
  • Prepare drawing packages, equipment submittals, testing specifications, and other engineering documents to support project execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, execution plans, and look-ahead schedules to guide project progress.
  • Identify project risks and liabilities, and implement strategies to mitigate them proactively.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals against project specifications to select suitable suppliers.
  • Monitor and expedite vendor progress to align with project schedules.
  • Track and control project progress against schedule and budget to ensure targets are met.
  • Engage daily with project teams to discuss progress and provide clear guidance.
  • Facilitate coordination and interface among various disciplines, procurement, and construction groups to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Conduct contract reviews, perform risk analyses, and develop contingency plans to manage uncertainties.
  • Prepare and enforce project policies related to quality and safety standards.
  • Initiate and lead project kick-off meetings with clients and internal teams to align expectations.
  • Prepare overall budget cost plans and perform cost analyses to maintain financial control.
  • Monitor and analyze project operations and schedules to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Coordinate EPC cost estimations to support project budgeting.
  • Represent the company professionally in client interactions and communications.
  • Control project documentation and manage design changes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare project specifications and systems to support effective project execution.
  • Assist in site installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure project completion.
