Job summary

Exentec Singapore Pte Ltd seeks an Engineer Mechanical to coordinate with customers, consultants, sub-contractors, site supervisors and safety teams to meet project requirements. You will design, install and maintain equipment for monitoring and controlling processes.

This role requires 3+ years in the construction sector, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across operations, purchasing and design teams to deliver on time and safely.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in gas/chemical/mechanical construction sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and integrity.
• Teamwork oriented with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with customers, consultants, sub-contractors, site supervisors and safety teams.
• Supports progress reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Ensures procedures and safety guidelines are followed.
• Designs, develops, installs, and maintains equipment for monitoring and control systems.
• Ensures engineering systems operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Prepares scope of work, sub-contracts, and proposals including Tender follow-up.

We are looking for Engineer Mechanical who will be responsible for coordinates and liaise with stakeholders such as customers, consultants, sub-contractors, site supervisors, safety supervisors to ensure project requirements are met

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Full involvement in project activities and assists with timely progress reports
• Builds and maintains customer satisfaction through clear, consistence communication
• Ensure procedures, standards, safety (EHS) and guidelines are followed
• Responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
• To ensure that engineering systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
• Need a thorough understanding of the operational processes of an organization as this role is multidisciplinary, working closely with colleagues across several functions, including operations, purchasing and design
• Prepare scope of work, sub-contracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up.

Show your expertise

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering. Other relevant certification may be considered with the appropriate training/relevant work experience
• > 3 years of working experience in the construction industry
• Related experience in gas/chemical/mechanical construction industry
