Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions LLC is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to contribute to restoration and sustainable water projects in Singapore. The role involves hands-on design, fieldwork, and collaboration with senior engineers to move projects from concept to construction.

• B.S. in civil, environmental, water resources, or natural resources engineering (or a related field).
• EIT eligible.
• Previous internship or industry-related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of watershed hydrology fundamentals.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for ecological restoration, stormwater systems, and erosion & sediment control.

A Day in the Life

As an Engineer I, your typical day will be a blend of technical collaboration and hands-on project support. You'll:

• Collaborate closely with Senior Engineers and other team members to develop designs for ecological restoration, stormwater systems, and erosion & sediment control.
• Utilize state-of-the-art software like AutoCAD, FlowMaster, HEC-RAS, and GIS to assist in the creation and analysis of hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Engage in technical report writing and meticulous data collection/organization to support your team's projects.
• Participate in fieldwork to gather critical site data and perform site reconnaissance and assessments.
• Conducting field visits to assess project sites and observe construction progress, connecting your designs to real-world implementation.
• Communicating with clients, project stakeholders, and permitting agencies to achieve project goals.
