Job summary

Keppel Ltd. is seeking a Data Centre Operations professional to maintain DC systems and respond to service requests. The role requires daily walkthroughs, fault reporting, and coordination with subcontractors to ensure M&E equipment remains in good working order.

You will handle emergency calls during shifts, maintain safety and environmental policy adherence, and may travel overseas for assignments as required by supervision. Platform: Connectivity, Operating Division.

• Perform daily DC walkthroughs and identify faults or defects.
• Carry out routine checklists to ensure all critical M&E systems are healthy.
• Ensure DC area is clean, safe, and compliant with work practices.
• Assist shift lead with handovers and outstanding issues.
• Log incidents and field service reports; follow quality, health & safety policies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency calls (during shift work)
• Maintain Data Centre Systems
• Conduct daily walkthrough of DC to record and report any faults or defects detected and take down record of M&E equipment
• Conduct daily routine checklist to ensure no environmental abnormalities and all critical M&E related systems are in good working condition
• Ensure that the DC is clean, free from debris and safe work practices are being carried out during installation work / routine maintenance / repair of equipment by SubContractors/vendors
• Assist Shift Lead during Briefing and handover to incoming shift team on all outstanding issues and Standing Instructions from the Operation Lead / Assistant Manager / Manager
• Incidents and field service reporting and filing
• Adherence to all quality, health & safety, and environmental policies
• Comply to site required policies, guidelines and practices
• Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department
• Such other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department from time to time
