Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Singapore to design and implement firmware for STM32-based control systems. You will write and test C code, develop Python scripts, and work closely with hardware and engineering teams to integrate software with hardware peripherals.

The role requires a strong background in embedded systems, microcontroller peripherals, and debugging, with opportunities to contribute to system testing and product development activities in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers and embedded systems development.
• Good understanding of microcontroller peripherals and debugging tools.
• Experience with embedded control systems.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, CAN protocols.
• Familiarity with Git / version control systems.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Solid communication skills.

• Location: Serangoon, Singapore

• Working Hours: 5 days/week, 8:30am–5:30pm

Main Responsibilities

• Developing embedded software and firmware for STM32-based control systems.

• Writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining C firmware.

• Developing supporting tools and scripts using Python.

• Integrating software with hardware peripherals and communication protocols.

• Debugging and troubleshooting embedded system issues.

• Working closely with hardware and engineering teams during product development.

• Participating in system testing, documentation, and product development activities.

• Collaborating with Field Service teams to troubleshoot and resolve system problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• Strong programming skills in C.

• Experience with Python programming.

• Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers and embedded systems development.

• Good understanding of microcontroller peripherals and debugging tools.
