Job summary

AEM International in Singapore is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support STM32-based control systems. You will design, implement, and optimise firmware, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure robust integrated solutions.

The role focuses on firmware development in C, tooling with Python, and close collaboration across engineering disciplines to deliver reliable embedded platforms in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field.
• Strong C programming for embedded systems.
• Experience with Python for tooling or scripting.
• Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers.
• Understanding of MCU peripherals and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I2C, and CAN protocols.
• Experience with embedded control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for STM32-based control systems.
• Interface embedded software with hardware peripherals and communication protocols.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems and firmware issues.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and verification activities; document design specifications and test reports.
