Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Professional Services (Application Security) to work in a hybrid model. You will be embedded with the customer’s team, shaping security architectures, and delivering hands-on Cloudflare configurations in the customer environment.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in customer-facing technical roles, with deep expertise in web security, networking, and enterprise-scale engagements across APJC.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Recognized expertise in one focus area with a track record of leading complex engagements.
• Strong networking foundation including OSI, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in APJC region.

Responsibilities

• Embed & integrate as an embedded member of the customer’s technical team.
• Hands-on design, configuration, and optimization of Cloudflare solutions in the customer environment.
• Provide proactive architecture guidance and roadmap alignment; produce design artefacts.
• Lead technical workshops and knowledge transfer; document decisions and runbooks.
• Partner with account teams to align on strategy and expansion opportunities.
