Job summary

VDL ENABLING TECHNOLOGIES GROUP (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electromechanical Design Engineer to design electrical hardware for semiconductor equipment, translating requirements into reliable electrical architectures using EPLAN.

You will design electrical cabinets and wiring, develop schematics and I/O interfaces, and collaborate with mechanical and control teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electromechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical/electromechanical design for high-tech systems.
• Strong understanding of schematics, cabling, power distribution and I/O interfaces.
• Experience with electrical CAD/CAE tools, preferably EPLAN Electric P8.
• Familiarity with safety standards and machine safety concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical cabinets, racks and wiring in line with system requirements.
• Develop schematics, I/O definitions and wiring concepts.
• Create documentation using EPLAN and maintain interfaces with mech and control systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and system engineers for integrated machine design.
• Support testing, commissioning and production release of designs.
