Job summary

BNL Engineering Private Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to lead and deliver electrical and M&E projects across Singapore.

The role focuses on cost planning, tendering, contract administration and claims management, with emphasis on accuracy and coordination with architects and clients.

Diploma/degree in QS or related field required; experience in electrical/M&E projects advantageous; strong negotiation and communication skills essential.

• Able to prepare Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.

Join our growing team! As part of a Nasdaq-listedgroup, BNL Engineering Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to lead and deliver electrical and M&Eprojects across Singapore.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Prepare project cost budgets, monitor changes in design and construction works, and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Source quotations from contractors and sub-contractors and conduct price comparisons.
• Manage claim submissions, follow-ups, and monthly cost/value reports.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BQ), in coordination with architects and clients.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for project tendering.
• Manage project administration and documentation, including interim valuations, variation pricing, and agreement of contract variations.
• Measure and determine work progress to evaluate work done and assess contractual claims submitted by sub-contractors.
• Review project variations and advise the Project Manager on the cost implications of changes in project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation and settlement of final accounts with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Carry out duties and documentation required under the Company’s ISO Quality Management System.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in electrical and/or M&E projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of tendering, cost control, contract administration, variations and claims.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
