Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a proactive Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage material sourcing for construction projects. You will work closely with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement of electrical materials and site-related items.

The role requires independence, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Purchasing / Procurement.
• Experience in Construction / Building / M&E subcontractor environment.
• Knowledge of electrical materials is preferred.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with site/project teams.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase electrical materials, equipment and site-related items.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotation, pricing and delivery.
• Compare quotations and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules and material availability.
• Coordinate with Project / Site team to ensure materials are delivered on time.
• Ensure purchases are within the allocated budget.
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers and source new suppliers when required.
