Job summary

M&E Electrical Engineering Pte is seeking an Electrical Engineer to prepare tender drawings, perform load calculations and oversee M&E works on site.

You will review drawings and specifications, coordinate with consultants and contractors, ensure compliance with local codes and standards, monitor progress and safety, and lead documentation through to handover.

3–5 years of relevant experience and a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in commercial / schools projects.
• Knowledge of M&E systems and coordination.
• Familiarity with local codes and standards.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Proactive and willing to learn new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical tender drawings covering power distribution, lighting, card access, CCTV, IT systems, and lightning protection.
• Perform load calculations and support DB design.
• Develop and refine tender specifications and technical documentation to industry standards.
• Oversee and manage all M&E works on site.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and standards.
• Monitor project progress, quality and safety compliance.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct inspections, testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
