Job summary

CATIG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E engineer to oversee mechanical and electrical works on site.

You will ensure works comply with drawings, coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and supervise daily activities to keep projects on track. The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least five years of main-con experience, preferably with HDB projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in main-con, preferably in HDB projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
• Inform Project Director/Project Manager of technical/site problems on M&E works.
• Supervise the progress of M&E works on site.
• Coordinate sub-contractor M&E work and ensure on schedule.
• Work closely with clients, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters.
• Supervise and coordinate M&E services with other departments to meet timelines.
• Conduct detailed M&E coordination with all specialist contractors.
• Carry out testing and commissioning of M&E works; execute mechanical and electrical works in construction.
• Supervise day-to-day site works and manage subcontractors’ progress planning & build.
• Handle project supervision and documentation.
• Manage M&E subcontractors’ submission of method statements, drawings, materials, samples, and work progress.
