Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Design/Tender) in Singapore to join their M&E engineering client’s team. You will prepare tender drawings for power, lighting, CCTV, IT systems, and lightning protection, and review related documentation.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience in building services or infrastructure projects. It is a permanent, office-based position in the Northeast region.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering required.
• 1 year of electrical design/tender experience in building services or infra.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services systems and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical tender drawings for power, lighting, CCTV, IT, and lightning protection.
• Perform load calculations and assist DB design.
• Develop and refine tender specifications and technical documentation.
• Review MV/LV, earthing, UPS, generators, and lighting drawings.
• Evaluate design submissions from consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Address technical queries in collaboration with consultants and stakeholders.

Job description

Our esteemed client in the M&E Engineering industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Design/ Tender) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Electrical Engineer
• Location: Northeast (Nearest MRT: Punggol Coast)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
• Salary Package: Up to $5,500 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical tender drawings covering systems such as power distribution, lighting, card access, CCTV, IT systems, and lightning protection.
• Perform load calculations and support distribution board (DB) design.
• Develop and refine tender specifications and technical documentation in compliance with industry standards.
• Review electrical design drawings, including MV/LV systems, earthing, UPS, standby generators, lighting, and small power.
• Evaluate design submissions and technical proposals from consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Address technical queries from project stakeholders in consultation with consultants.
• Coordinate with architects, civil, structural, and mechanical teams for integrated design delivery.

Job Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical design, tender preparation, or consultancy work in building services or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical building services systems and industry standards
• Ability to perform electrical load calculations and review technical drawings
