You will review drawings, prepare BOQs, submit tenders, and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring compliance with Singapore standards and safety requirements. This role blends engineering with proactive sales and client facing activities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading electrical drawings and preparing BoQs and tender documents.
• Valid driving license and willingness to conduct site visits across Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical electrical work and drive project execution in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Apply Singapore electrical standards, codes, and industry practices to ensure compliance and quality in all projects
• Review electrical drawings and specifications to prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs
• Prepare and submit tenders by assisting in costing and documentation processes
• Maintain comprehensive electrical project documentation for effective project tracking and compliance
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to support tendering and project execution
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to optimize cost and quality
• Assist in project planning, coordination, and fulfillment of technical requirements
• Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress
• Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to support sales growth
• Prepare quotations and proposals and actively follow up with customers to close sales
• Achieve monthly sales and business development targets through strategic customer engagement
• Provide technical support and recommend suitable electrical solutions to customers
• Ensure all projects and documentation comply with Singapore's health and safety standards and regulations
• Work independently demonstrating hands-on knowledge of electrical installation and project requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD for reading and interpreting electrical drawings
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook for project and communication tasks
• Experienced in preparing BOQs, costing, and tendering to support project bids
• Valid driving license to conduct site visits and supplier coordination
• Knowledgeable in supplier and subcontractor sourcing and coordination for project execution
• Familiar with electrical project documentation and site coordination practices
• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements with relevant courses/certifications and practical experience
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills to support sales and project success
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated sales and business development mindset to achieve targets

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in industrial, commercial, and residential electrical projects in Singapore
• Ability to handle both technical electrical engineering responsibilities and sales/business development functions
• Possession of a valid Singapore electrical licence/certification or relevant electrical qualification
