POWERCHINA (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electrical engineering operations and site management at construction sites in Singapore.

You will ensure electrical installation, testing and maintenance comply with approved standards, specifications and safety regulations. The role requires strong CAD proficiency, 5+ years in electrical engineering, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, consultants and clients, including access considerations for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proficient in CAD drawing software to review and produce electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment testing procedures and site commissioning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for on-site issue resolution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work on Jurong Island with site access and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee electrical engineering works at construction sites to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations
• Review and verify electrical drawings, including secondary schematic diagrams, coordinating with vendors and consultants to ensure accuracy and feasibility
• Supervise and witness on-site testing and commissioning of electrical panels, motors, and related equipment to confirm operational readiness
• Ensure construction quality acceptance by identifying and resolving technical and construction-related issues promptly
• Liaise effectively with clients, employers, consultants, and relevant personnel, attending inspections and witnessing sessions as required
• Prepare, review, and update construction method statements and technical documentation to support project execution
• Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of electrical works
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company
