Job summary

CAREERNEXUS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced electrical engineer to lead the design, specification, and commissioning of complex electrical systems on site in Singapore. You will drive regulatory compliance and align work with project blueprints while coordinating with cross-functional teams and contractors.

You will perform advanced diagnostics, root-cause analyses, and swift corrective actions to resolve intricate faults. Strong leadership and CAD/PM tool proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in electrical system design and site execution.
• Experience with HT networks, frequency converters, and generator sets (newbuilds and migrations).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, ElectricalCAD tools, and MS Project for drafting/planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct design, specs, and commissioning of complex electrical systems ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with blueprints.
• Lead diagnostic and root-cause analyses, implementing swift corrective actions for faults.
• Manage cross-functional site teams and external contractors to drive project execution and meet milestones.
• Prepare MOS, ITPs, Safe Work Procedures, and process RFIs.
• Develop micro-schedules and deliver status reports to senior management.
• Enforce QA and safety standards across manufacturing, installation, and testing phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the comprehensive design, technical specification, and commissioning of complex electrical systems to guarantee full alignment with regulatory codes and project blueprints.
• Spearhead advanced diagnostic procedures and root cause analyses, deploying swift corrective measures to resolve intricate electrical system faults.
• Command cross-functional site teams and external contractors, steering project execution and mitigating technical conflicts tomeet critical delivery milestones.
• Formulate rigorous Method Statements (MOS), Inspection Test Plans, and Safe Work Procedures, while actively processing Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Construct detailed micro-schedules and trackoperational progress, delivering comprehensive status reports and presentations to senior management.
• Enforce stringent quality assurance and safety standards across all manufacturing, installation, and testing phases of the electrical infrastructure.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, strictly attained from a university recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
• At least 5 years of robust professional experience specializing in electrical system design and site execution.
• Mandatory technical expertise in managing HighTension (HT) networks, frequency converters, and generator sets, including newbuilds and system migrations.
• Highly proficient in utilizing industry-standard drafting and planning software, specifically encompassing AutoCAD, electricalCAD tools, and MS Project.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and leadership acumen, equipped to navigate complex site challenges independentlyand drive team performance.
