Job summary

STAFFLINK SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer / Site Engineer to oversee electrical and ELV site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure installation, testing and commissioning are completed to project specs.

Ideal candidates will have ITE/ diploma/ degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in electrical project/site management, preferably in industrial or commercial projects. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for suitable opportunities.

• Knowledge of electrical and ELV systems, installation and commissioning processes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Good problem-solving, coordination and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical and ELV schematic drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of electrical site works.
• Review contract specifications and prepare Variation Order (VO) submissions where required.
• Perform engineering design, electrical load calculations and fault calculations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant standards.
• Attend regular site meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to discuss and resolve project matters.
• Monitor site progress and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Assist the Project/Site/Construction Manager in monitoring project progress and resolving site issues.
• Ensure proper coordination between electrical works and other M&E trades.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities upon project completion.
• Maintain proper project documentation and provide updates on site progress.
