Job summary

INTUIT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join a dynamic team. This permanent role involves providing technical support to the Project Manager, preparing engineering documents, and supervising construction teams in the installation and commissioning of electrical systems across various locations in Singapore.

Ideal candidates possess a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. The job requires good understanding of local safety regulations and the ability to work in diverse project environments.

Job description

Our esteemed client in the Electrical Engineering industry is seeking an Project Engineer to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Electrical Project Engineer (M&E / ELV)
• Location: Islandwide (depends on project’s location)
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $5,500 + Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assist the Project Manager in project planning, coordination, and execution of all site activities.
• Prepare, review, and update engineering documents such as drawings, method statements, risk assessments, safe work procedures, and operation & maintenance manuals.
• Coordinate and supervise construction teams and subcontractors in the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and ELV systems to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and relevant authorities on engineering and technical matters.
• Plan and schedule site work activities according to the master program to ensure timely and safe completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical or M&E construction projects.
• Good understanding of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Familiar with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Able to work at different site locations and adapt to dynamic project environments.
