Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Site Engineer to support M&E subcontract work in Singapore. You will assist on-site coordination and ensure workmanship aligns with design intent, while verifying installation quality from suppliers and subcontractors.

Candidates should hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience, knowledge of ISO standards, and be able to prepare shop drawings and attend client meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of M&E subcontractor experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, 14001, 45001 and ISO Internal Quality Auditor is an advantage.
• Building Construction Safety certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit site solving skills and on-site coordination to customers.
• Competent in electrical engineering design and understanding of building services codes.
• Ensure material and installation quality by suppliers/subcontractors per ISO quality plan.
• Coordinate, monitor and control supplier materials/equipment and subcontractor installation quality.
• Produce shop drawings and coordinate drawings; attend client and internal meetings.
• Assist manager on day-to-day activities under master planning schedule, quality and safety.
• Coordinate with main contractor to prevent rework and ensure proper site progress.
• Control site materials/equipment to reduce wastage.
• Communicate with suppliers/subcontractors to avoid delivery delays.
• Check for non-conforming products or installations to avoid defects.
• Explore new technologies and installation methods to improve productivity.
• Follow up on site progress and communicate clearly to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• To be competent in engineering skill especially in design/knowledge & understanding of code of practice in building services to customer.
• Ensure quality of material & installation by suppliers/subcontractors in line with ISO quality plan.
• Coordinate, monitor & control of supplier’s materials/equipment & subcontractors installation quality.
• Produce shop drawings & coordination of drawings & coordination of drawings etc.
• Prepare work schedules & attend client meeting and internal meeting
• To assist manager on the day to day activities under the master planning schedule, quality, safety etc
• To control proper coordination with main contractor to prevent rework etc
• To control site material/equipment so as to reduce wastage.
• To communicate closely with suppliers / subcontractors to reduce delivery delay affecting progress.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 2-3 years of related experience in M&E Subcontractor environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, 14001, 45001 and ISO Internal Quality Auditor will be an advantage
• Certificate in Building Construction Safety will be advantage
