Job summary

ACEPL in Singapore invites forward-looking engineers with a degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore to join their office as Electrical Engineers. ACEPL specializes in building services consultancy and serves condominiums, teaching institutions, hospitals, hotels, offices, malls, and data centers.

Design, supervision, and contract administration of electrical installations are core duties, including MV/LV systems, lighting, UPS, and PV.

Qualifications

• Degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Design, supervision, and contract administration of electrical works for institutional/commercial/residential/industrial projects.
• Prepare system schematics and layout drawings.
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings.
• Tender evaluation.
• Plan submissions to relevant authorities.
• Review contractors’ technical submissions and shop drawings.
• Verification of contractors’ progress claims.
• Monitoring of contractors' site progress.
• Witness factory and site acceptance tests.

What you will do:

Design, supervision, and contract administration of the following works for institutional/ commercial/ residential/ industrial projects:

1) Electrical Installation

• Medium and Low Voltage Systems


• Fault Analysis and Protective Relay Co-ordination Studies


• Single Line Diagram Design


• Sizing of Emergency Standby Generators


• Sizing of Uninterruptible Power Supplies


• General Lighting and Power Design


• Lightning Protection Design


• Earthing Design


• Extra Low Voltage Systems


• Solar Photo Voltaic Systems

2) Vertical Transportation

• Passenger/ service/ goods lifts including traffic analysis


• Escalators and travellators

3) Preparation of system schematics and layout drawings

4) Preparation of technical specifications and drawings

5) Tender evaluation

6) Plan submissions to relevant authorities

7) Review of contractors’ technical submission and shop drawings

8) Verification of contractors’ progress claims
