Job summary

TSTAR RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an established MNC client to lead electrical design, installation, and commissioning across project sites.

You will review documentation, support planning, troubleshoot systems, and mentor junior engineers to ensure safety and compliance. The role requires a diploma/degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, familiarity with control system automation, PLC programming, and proficiency with AutoCAD or EPLAN.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent.
• Familiarity with control system automation (hardware and software) is essential.
• Experience in motor control, PLC programming, and electrical panel/system design is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving with a structured approach.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Hands-on wiring and installation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or EPLAN Electric P8 and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit project documentation including schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Support planning and coordination of installation activities and resource allocation to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
• Oversee and support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems at project sites.
• Act as the key liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure smooth communication and execution.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, propose solutions, and ensure system functionality meets specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Make quick and effective decisions during project activities, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in electrical engineering and automation to enhance project efficiency and innovation.
• Document project learnings and best practices for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as mechanical and control engineers for integrated project delivery.
• Perform other related duties or tasks as assigned by management.
• Be prepared to travel overseas when required for project needs.

Job Requirements:

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 5,000 + AWS + VB (1 Month)
