Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Control System Specialist to design, install, maintain and troubleshoot automated electrical systems in industrial settings, using sensors, PLCs, and motion control to boost efficiency, safety, and performance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop wiring diagrams, configure motor drives, and ensure compliance with safety codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec in Electrical Technology (Power & Control) or equivalent.
• Strong grasp of circuits, schematics, and electrical safety codes.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control principles.
• Ability to read blueprints, use test equipment, and perform logical analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Creating electrical control system designs, producing wiring diagrams, and selecting components for industrial machinery.
• Installation & Commissioning: Setting up, testing, and bringing new automated systems online.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, performing I/O analysis, and conducting system upgrades.
• Motion Control: Configuring and tuning servo/stepper motors and related control systems.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed technical documentation, including schematics and compliance files.
• Collaboration: Working with mechanical, software, and operations teams to improve system reliability.
