Job summary

BECTON DICKINSON MEDICAL PRODUCTS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead safety, health and environmental programs at the Tuas Plant. You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and facilities teams to identify hazards, assess risks and implement robust controls to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field with 3–5 years of EHS experience, WSHO registration, FSM certification and knowledge of ISO

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in EHS, manufacturing or related field; medical device or high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Certified Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to support SCDF fire safety requirements.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, audits and corrective action tracking preferred.
• Security management experience or strong familiarity with access control and contractor/visitor protocols is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support site leadership in implementing EHS plans and regulatory compliance activities.
• Partner with operations and support functions to identify hazards and implement controls for routine and non-routine activities.
• Establish and sustain standard work for EHS processes to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement.
• Lead or support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action verification.
• Track and close corrective actions from audits, inspections and risk assessments using action trackers.
• Deliver EHS training and competency programs for associates and visitors.
• Maintain EHS documents, records and training matrices.
