Job summary

BD Singapore Tuas Plant seeks an experienced EHS lead to implement safety plans, regulatory compliance, and training across manufacturing, maintenance and facilities.

You will collaborate with operations to identify hazards, perform risk assessments, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement in ISO 14001/45001 environments.

Must be registered WSHO, FSM certified; experience with SCDF fire safety and contractor safety is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
• 3–5 years in EHS/manufacturing or related technical environment; medical device or high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• WSHO registered with the Ministry of Manpower.
• FSM certification and SCDF fire safety management experience.
• ISO 14001/45001 knowledge; audits and CAPA experience.
• Security management and contractor/visitor control experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support EHS plans, regulatory compliance, audits, training and investigations.
• Identify hazards, assess risks and implement effective controls.
• Develop and sustain standard work for EHS processes and continuous improvement.
• Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses and internal audits.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor EHS performance indicators and report to site leadership.
