Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (VSMC) seeks an Emergency Response Centre professional to plan, respond to, and recover from EHS incidents within a high‑voltage semiconductor environment. You will operate safety monitoring systems and support CERT readiness, audits, and training across the plant.

The role requires shift work to ensure 24/7 safety and continuous operations, with opportunities to enhance CERT capabilities and maintain critical fire protection and gas monitoring

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Engineering, Science or related discipline.
• Certifications in industrial safety or emergency response are advantageous.
• Experience in semiconductor or chemical manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement plant emergency response plans.
• Organise and conduct CERT drills, exercises and training programmes.
• Operate and monitor safety systems in the ERC and troubleshoot issues.
• Act as first responder for EHS incidents including incident management and reporting.
• Maintain emergency response equipment, fire protection and gas monitoring systems.
• Perform safety inspections of hazardous operations and work shifts to support 24/7 plant operations.
• Assist with audits of fire protection and emergency response plans with authorities.
