Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte Ltd (VSMC) in Singapore seeks an EHS professional to identify, assess and advise on risks arising from workplace health, environment and processes, and to implement measures to minimize and control them.

You will conduct hazard assessments, drive EHS compliance across fab operations, manage waste, air, water and chemicals, lead ERC activities and coordinate ISO certifications while providing technical guidance on emerging EHS issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science background including Occupational Safety, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, environmental science and emergency response or management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or other chemically intensive manufacturing industries and regulatory compliance preferred.
• Possess industrial safety, environmental protection, and fire protection related certificates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, evaluate environments, and implement corrective actions.
• Apply licenses, conduct tests and provide inspection reports on environment and safety.
• Lead Fab processes and equipment for EHS compliance, including waste, air, water and chemicals management.
• Manage semiconductor process safety and drive EHS culture and programs.
• Perform regular inspections and audits, supervise hazardous operations safely.
• Lead ERC activities such as factory emergency response and fire or gas incidents.
• Collaborate with departments for ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO14064, ISO50001 certifications.
• Provide technical, regulatory and process guidance on emerging EHS issues.

Role Summary

You are responsible for identifying, assessing and advising on risks arising from the workplace health, environmental and/or work processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementing the measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct job and environment hazard and risk assessments, perform workplace evaluations, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Apply relevant licenses, conduct tests and provide necessary inspection reports on environment and safety to drive improvement
• Lead and continually review existing and new Fab processes and equipment for EHS compliance, including managing waste, air, water, chemicals, gas and others
• Manage semiconductor process safety, establish Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) culture, implement and enhance the EHS program for employees and contractors
• Perform regular and ad-hoc inspections. audits and supervise hazardous operations safely
• Lead and facilitate ERC (Emergency Response Committee) related activities such as factory emergency response, fire, gas leak and others
• Collaborate with relevant departments for ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO14064, and ISO50001 management systems certification and compliance
• Provide technical, regulatory and process guidance to address emerging EHS issues

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences
