Job summary

VISIONPOWER SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFACTURING COMPANY PTE. LTD. seeks a Fire Protection & Life Safety Engineer to oversee the safe, compliant operation, maintenance, testing and continuous improvement of fire protection systems in a semiconductor facility.

You will plan inspections, coordinate with contractors, support emergency response, and contribute to reliability improvement while ensuring regulatory and EHS compliance across 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with fire protection and life safety systems.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations and fire protection standards.
• Willingness to travel for training or site support.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and monitor site-wide fire protection and life safety systems.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Plan and conduct inspections, testing and functional checks of fire protection systems.
• Support emergency response activities involving fire and hazardous materials.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications and proposals.
• Maintain documentation and monitor KPIs related to system availability and compliance.
