Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking an experienced Exchange Server Administrator to design, deploy, and manage enterprise email infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments.

You will optimize performance, security, and availability of Exchange and Active Directory, automate routine tasks with PowerShell, and support large-scale data centre operations while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server
• Strong Active Directory management and user provisioning
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation

Your will part a team of highly motivated individuals in the development and maintenance of systems for our client. You should have proven track records in building software and systems to manage infrastructure and applications through automation. In addition, you should have superior Enterprise Windows Exchange and Active Directory Technical Operation skills in large multi sites data centres operations.

What will you do?

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Exchange Server environments in both on-premises and hybrid configurations
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal email service delivery
• Troubleshoot complex Exchange Server issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
• Manage user mailboxes, distribution groups, and resource management within Active Directory
• Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery procedures for email systems
• Implement and enforce security policies, compliance requirements, and data protection measures
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades while minimizing downtime
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting and other automation tools
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Exchange Server with other enterprise systems and cloud services
• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge management
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and end-users

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5+ years of professional experience administering and managing Microsoft Exchange Server environments
• Extensive knowledge of Exchange Server architecture, components, and functionality
• Proficiency in Active Directory management and user provisioning
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with analytical mindset
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for email systems
• Solid understanding of email security, compliance, and data protection principles
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• Strong communication abilities and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid Exchange environments and Office 365/Microsoft 365 integration
• Knowledge of high availability solutions and load balancing technologies
• Experience with virtualization platforms and infrastructure management
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and best practices
• Project management experience in IT infrastructure initiatives
• Vendor management and relationship building experienceMicrosoft Exchange Server certifications (such as Microsoft Certified: Exchange Administrator Expert) - MCSA/MCSE
