Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking an experienced Exchange Server Administrator to design, deploy, and manage enterprise email infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments.

You will optimize performance, security, and availability of Exchange and Active Directory, automate routine tasks with PowerShell, and support large-scale data centre operations while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server
• Strong Active Directory management and user provisioning
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery for email systems
• Hybrid Exchange and Office 365 integration knowledge
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Exchange Server environments in on-premises and hybrid configurations
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of email services
• Troubleshoot Exchange issues and implement timely solutions
• Manage mailboxes, distribution groups, and AD objects
• Develop backup and disaster recovery procedures for email systems
• Implement security policies and data protection measures
• Perform updates, patches, and upgrades with minimal downtime
• Automate routine tasks with PowerShell and other tools
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Exchange with other systems and cloud services
• Document configurations and best practices for knowledge sharing
• Provide guidance to junior staff and end-users
• Analyze and optimize email system costs and resource usage
