Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams. You will capture, refine and document requirements, translate them into user stories and ensure alignment with project objectives throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years’ BA experience, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, APIs, and systems integration, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to drive successful outcomes for AI-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

• Gather and document business and functional requirements (BRD/PRD/user stories).
• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Understand APIs, systems integration, and software concepts.
• Experience with UAT planning and coordination.
• Strong business background; financial projects preferred.
• Able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of LLM integration and service orchestration.
• Minimum 3 years’ BA experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify problems, needs, and opportunities.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with business and technical teams.
• Advise clients and internal teams on AI, automation or process improvement directions.
• Support solution design ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Participate in SIT and coordinate UAT and defect triage.
• Act as liaison between development, project management and clients throughout development.
• Maintain traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle.

Job Description

A Business Analyst at NCSServes as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team. Responsible for understanding business needs, gathering and analysing requirements, and ensures that the designed and delivered solution aligns with business objectives. The BA plays a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from problem identification, solution design to solution implementation, ensuring clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes.

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify problems, needs, and opportunities
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and walkthroughs with business and technical teams
• Provide consult to both client and internal teams on the direction to be taken with regards to solution as well as whether incorporating AI, Automation or Process Improvement is the best way forward
• Support solution design by ensuring alignment with business goals
• Participate in systems integration testing (SIT) coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support defect triage
• Act as a liaison between development team, project management and clients throughout development to clarify requirements and manage scope
• Maintain traceability of requirements across the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• Requirements gathering and documentation (e.g., BRD, PRD, user stories)
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Understanding of APIs, systems integration, and software development concepts
• Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and coordination
• Strong business background, experience with Financial Projects preferred
• Dynamic, adept at adapting to changes, able to collaborate well and work with multiple stakeholders
• Willing to spend time and capable of picking up new technology quickly
• Understanding of LLM, MCP, Integration of services
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a business analyst
