Job summary

Univers seeks a seasoned Product Lead for IoT Connectivity & AI Foundation to drive strategy, roadmap and execution across edge-to-cloud data ingestion, MQTT infrastructure (EMQX) and enterprise AI integration. You will own multi-region deployment, governance and scalable data pipelines for thousands of devices.

You will collaborate with hardware, platform infra and AI teams, shaping edge protocols, telemetry schemas and secure, low-latency data streams for enterprise workloads.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, EE, IoT or related field.
• 6+ years in technical product management with IoT/IIoT focus.
• Domain expertise in IoT protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, BACnet, CAN, MQTT, CoAP, WebSockets, HTTP).
• Strong familiarity with enterprise MQTT brokers (EMQX, HiveMQ) and streaming engines (Kafka).
• Knowledge of edge store-and-forward, local databases, data synchronization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and communicating with senior technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision and roadmap for IoT Connectivity & AI Foundation.
• Lead design and development of a shared platform supporting multiple AI agents.
• Own capabilities: registry, telemetry, governance, access management and evaluations.
• Translate business needs into scalable platform requirements with engineering leads.
• Manage resources, prioritize delivery, ensure security, scalability and enterprise readiness.
• Define edge-to-cloud data pipelines and multi-protocol edge data models for real-time analytics.
• Collaborate with cloud and AI teams to ensure streaming, AI workflow readiness and RAG pipelines.
• Lead remote gateway onboarding, OTA updates, edge health monitoring and deployment.
