Job summary

Univers is seeking an AI Platform Foundation Architect Lead to evolve our core platform into an AI-native, scalable ecosystem. You will define architecture across IaaS, Middleware, Big Data platforms and AI infrastructure, bridging traditional infra with AI agentic operations for enterprise teams.

You will guide token optimization, hosting small models, automated operations, and set standards for resilient, low-latency hosting while coordinating with upper-level teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI Gateways, token optimization, and hosting small language/models (SLMs).
• Familiarity with LLMs/AI Agents for log analysis, RCA, or AI-driven alerting.
• Deep architecture expertise in messaging queues, caches, and time-series platforms.
• Strong experience in public/hybrid clouds, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Oversee evaluation, selection, architecture standards, and operational frameworks for enterprise middleware.
• Architect and optimize high-throughput Big Data platforms and time-series storage for real-time telemetry.
• Provision scalable cloud-native and hybrid IaaS solutions using IaC principles.
• Design automated resource scaling to balance performance and cost.
• Establish full-stack telemetry and monitoring across hardware and software metrics.
• Architect multi-region, fault-tolerant systems for non-disruptive availability.
• Integrate AI Agents into CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments to accelerate resolution.
• Deploy centralized AI Gateways to manage token usage, caching, and cost allocation.
