Job summary

Univers is seeking a seasoned Product Lead - IoT Connectivity to drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of our core IoT Edge-to-Cloud connectivity engine. You will lead the lifecycle for Edge Protocol Conversion, MQTT Broker Infrastructure (EMQX), and Offline Data Store-and-Forward, crafting high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines across edge and cloud.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical product management for IoT platforms or IIoT.
• Experience with Edge Computing and telemetry data ingestion.
• Deep knowledge of industrial IoT protocols (Modbus, OPC-UA, BACnet, CAN, MQTT, CoAP).
• Hands-on familiarity with MQTT brokers and streaming engines.
• Ability to architect scalable edge-to-cloud data pipelines and device models.
• Excellent communication with senior technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for IoT Connectivity.
• Establish product metrics covering adoption, reliability, performance, cost and business value.
• Communicate the platform roadmap and value to senior leadership.
• Enable other product teams to build AI agents using shared platform capabilities.
• Define edge protocol conversion requirements for device interoperability.
• Drive MQTT/edge-to-cloud strategy and security policies for the broker infrastructure.
• Architect edge data buffering, local storage, and synchronization to avoid data loss.
• Define transmission strategies for different telemetry workloads and latency needs.
• Lead data models, telemetry schemas, and Digital Twin representations.
