Job summary

Benjamin Barker is seeking a commercially driven Ecommerce Assistant Manager/Manager to lead the growth of its online business in Singapore. You will own ecommerce trading, digital merchandising, and customer experience optimization to drive online revenue and profitability.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-led and comfortable making commercial decisions across product, promotions, and performance analytics, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless omnichannel journey.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, Business, IT or related discipline.
• 6-10 years ecommerce experience, preferably in fashion, lifestyle, premium retail or DTC.
• Proven experience managing and growing an ecommerce business with accountability for commercial performance.
• Strong understanding of ecommerce trading, digital merchandising, online retail operations, and customer behaviour.
• Commercially sharp, data-driven and able to interpret performance metrics for business decisions.
• Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms and analytics tools (GA4, Shopify Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI).
• Strong cross‑functional communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Hands‑on, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the ecommerce trading strategy and promotional calendar to hit revenue, margin and profitability targets.
• Own day-to-day ecommerce performance including online sales, conversion rate, AOV, units per transaction and customer experience.
• Plan and manage digital merchandising across site pages aligned with campaigns and calendars.
• Monitor inventory health, sell‑through and out-of-stock risks; propose commercial actions based on demand and trends.
• Drive platform optimization, analytics, CRO, A/B testing and weekly/monthly KPI reporting.
