Job summary

HKM HR Management Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant/Helper for a 6-day work week in Bedok. You will assist in food prep, support production, and ensure quality and timely delivery of dishes in a central kitchen environment.

The role requires a food hygiene certificate, willingness to work varied shifts (4am–2pm or 5am–3pm) with overtime compensation. Prior F&B prep experience is advantageous, and a team player attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B food preparation preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a central kitchen environment.
• Must follow company SOP strictly.
• Responsible, hardworking and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food according to recipes, dietary restrictions and photos.
• Support food production, stock and quality control.
• Assist in food preparation in all areas.
• Deliver food items on time with consistent presentation and standard.
• May perform various cooking methods (e.g., wok stir fry).
• Maintain cleanliness and standard of workspace and kitchen equipment.
• Conduct regular food quality checks for temperature and taste.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies and minimize wastage.
• Check ingredients for freshness and proper storage.
• Control portion sizes and minimize food costs.
