Job summary

THALES SOLUTIONS ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on leader to drive software engineering programs in Singapore.

You will provide technical direction, mentor engineers, and coordinate BUILD activities while ensuring security, compliance and cost control across on-premise and cloud environments. Responsibilities include planning releases, coordinating with DevOps practices, and engaging stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality software in an Agile@Scale setting.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification.
Solid experience in a complex software-centric environment (7+ years).
Strong understanding of the entire Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience with Azure and Infrastructure as Code.
Cross-functional collaboration with developers, DevSecOps teams, and stakeholders.
Familiarity with Lean, Kanban, Value-Stream Mapping and Agile@Scale frameworks.

Responsibilities

Provide team leadership and technical direction.
Plan, estimate and manage BUILD activities aligned with priorities.
Deploy, configure and administer networks and tools for engineering with security compliance.
Manage licenses for development environments per AMS HQ policies.
Mentor and upskill team members; promote knowledge sharing and documentation.
Lead product release planning and development of new functionalities.
Support project reviews, risk, quality reporting and budget considerations.
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure delivery consistency and process improvement.
