Job summary

Thales Group is seeking a Work Package Manager to lead planning, execution and monitoring of software-centric work packages in a Singapore-based project. You will coordinate with PMO, manage costs and resources, and drive risk mitigation to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of critical deliverables.

The role requires strong project management experience, EVMS familiarity, and stakeholder engagement with suppliers.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant fields.
Project Management qualification and/or certification (PMBOK preferred)
Essential experience delivering software-centric mission critical or high availability IT systems and networked computer infrastructure in a safety critical environment.

Responsibilities

Develop Work Package Description: identify deliverables, milestones and interdependencies with other WP’s; establish the schedule and estimates based on a viable solution; initialise risk and opportunity register and baseline.
Work Package Launch: establish a detailed schedule aligned with the project master schedule; define cost structure, resource profiles and supplier metrics.
Work Package Execution: achieve WP objectives; ensure on-time and within-budget delivery; identify and solve issues; manage risks and changes.
