Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Singapore seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager to lead all E&I design activities across the project lifecycle. You will be the primary technical interface with engineering consultants and contractors, reviewing deliverables to ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.

You will coordinate with Automation, IT, Piping, HVAC and Utilities teams for seamless integration, participate in 3D model reviews, and ensure EHS requirements are embedded

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Significant experience leading E&I engineering and design for large projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation interfaces.
• Experience working with EPC/EPCM contractors and engineering consultants.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Oversee E&I installation activities, ensuring safety, quality and compliance.
• Attend vendor, fabrication and equipment workshops as required.
• Review and approve mock-ups, testing activities, and turnover documentation.
• Ensure complete as-built documentation and handover packages at project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and support RFPs, technical bid evaluations, contractor selection, and equipment procurement.
• Manage the transition from design through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Oversee E&I installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, to specification, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Attend vendor, fabrication, and equipment workshops as required.
• Review and approve mock-ups, testing activities, and turnover documentation.
• Ensure complete and accurate as-built documentation and handover packages are delivered at project closeout.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
• Significant experience leading E&I engineering and design for large industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, automation interfaces, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Experience working with EPC/EPCM contractors and managing engineering consultants.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
