Job summary

Dr.SOS is seeking a Training Instructor to prepare and deliver sessions aligned with approved curricula, lesson plans, and outcomes. You will tailor delivery based on learner profiles and needs, and create engaging classroom, practical, and online training using effective methods.

Responsibilities include assessing knowledge, providing feedback, maintaining records, monitoring progress, and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment in line with EduTrust and SSG standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver training sessions in accordance with the approved curriculum, lesson plans, and learning outcomes.
• Review students' profiles, learning needs, and prior knowledge to tailor lesson delivery and maximise learning effectiveness.
• Prepare teaching materials, classroom resources, practical equipment, and learning activities prior to each session.
• Deliver engaging classroom, practical, and online training using appropriate teaching methodologies.
• Assess learners' knowledge, skills, and competencies in accordance with the approved assessment plans and marking criteria.
• Ensure all assessments are conducted fairly, consistently, and in compliance with organisational and awarding body requirements.
• Mark and provide constructive feedback on assessments within the stipulated timelines.
• Maintain accurate student attendance, assessment records, and training documentation.
• Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance and support to help learners achieve the required competence standards.
• Identify students requiring additional assistance and provide appropriate coaching or recommend intervention where necessary.
• Ensure a safe, professional, and inclusive learning environment at all times.
• Maintain classrooms, training equipment, and learning resources in good condition and report any issues promptly.
• Participate in assessment standardisation, moderation, trainer meetings, and CPD activities.
• Comply with organisational policies, EduTrust requirements, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) regulations, and awarding bodies standards.
