Job summary

The Perse School (Singapore) PTE. LTD. seeks a diligent Laboratory Technician to support safe, high-quality science teaching across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

You will prepare equipment, manage materials, and assist teachers during practicals while upholding strict safety standards. Role requires academic background in lab science and prior lab experience, preferably in education settings, with familiarity of international curricula being an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and distribute laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical lessons.
• Assist teachers during science practicals and help students with equipment.
• Ensure safe removal and disposal of used equipment, materials and waste.
• Maintain safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure chemicals are properly labeled and stored.
• Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment use and chemical logs.
• Support organisation and logistics of science events or demonstrations.
• Collaborate with staff to improve lab operations and teaching support.
