Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support school science sessions. The role involves setting up and distributing chemicals, materials and apparatus for daily practicals and exams, and preparing lesson materials.

You will maintain a clean, safe lab, dispose of chemicals properly, ensure equipment is functional, and assist teachers with accidents while helping manage inventory stocks.

Qualifications

Experience handling chemicals and lab materials.
Maintains safety protocols in a school lab.
Willingness to work with teachers and students.

Responsibilities

To set-up and distribute chemicals, materials and apparatuses for science daily practical sessions, internal exams, GCE ‘O’ Level Exams and other science activities.
To clear up after every lab session by ensuring proper disposal of chemicals / materials. Wipe and clean the tables and ensure the floor is clean.
To check that all apparatuses are in good working condition and carry out minor repairs of apparatus and equipment when necessary.
To maintain lab safety and provide assistance to teachers handling accidents.
To take part in the checking of inventory stocks.
