Responsibilities

• Monitoring of media coverage and preparation of reports for the wider team and clients.
• Delivering analytics reports on traditional and social media coverage, reporting on traffic, engagement, follower figures, trends and impact.
• Attending and facilitating client events and industry conferences.
• Creation of content such as press releases, story pitches, commentaries, holding statements, social media posts and product pieces.
• Pitching of press releases and story ideas to journalists across print, broadcast and online platforms.
• Arranging and facilitating interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople - in person or over the phone, facilitating these meetings where appropriate.
• Establishing and building relationships with journalists.
• Brainstorming fresh ideas for PR campaigns.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and general news.
• Researching and information-gathering.
• Working closely with the wider team to achieve client objectives.
• Contributing to a positive and conducive office and team culture.
